Welcome to Scotland, The Home of Golf

That's it folks - The 2014 Ryder Cup is over!  It was well worth the two-year wait to see Team Europe complete a hat-trick of successive wins in the greatest tournament in match play golf to beat Team USA 16½ to 11½ on Scottish soil. It was also Europe's eighth win in the last ten tournaments. Relive all the action from Gleneagles as it happened here.

Following last year's success, 2015 is set to be another bumper year for the country with many of the sport's most prestigious being hosted in Scotland. Rory McIlroy will battle to retain the Claret Jug at The 2015 Open in St Andrews, while the Women's British Open and Ladies Scottish Open both come to Ayrshire this year. The 2015 Scottish Open will be held on Scotland's Golf Coast in East Lothian.
